Graduation gown, cap with tassel, and hood for William Harrison Culp (1931-2017), who earned his doctorate at WVU in December of 1969. Also includes an academic regalia sales pamphlet and spare black tassel. Dr. Culp, a veteran of the Korean War, graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (then State Teachers College at Indiana) in 1957 with a B.S. in Mathematics Education, then he pursued his interests in psychology and counseling, completing an M.S. at Southern Illinois University and an Ed.D. at West Virginia University. He taught at IUP in the Counselor Education program from 1975 until his retirement in 1993.
