Historical Information
The act which established the previous Land Office next hit passed the General Assembly on 22 June 1779. The register was the head of the Office and was appointed by joint ballot of both houses of the legislature.
Scope and Content
Includes volume noting requests be made by members of the General Assembly for searches of Land Office records. Also contains a list of grants which were handed to members of the legislature for delivery to individuals in their home districts. Volume covers the period from 1822 Dec 3 to 1826 Mar 29.
