Biographical History

Richard McClintock has served as the Director of Publications at Hampden-Sydney College since 1975, and has served as an advisor to the Board of Publications at Hampden-Sydney College since 1978. He earned his bachelors and masters from the University of Virginia, finishing in 1967, and earned his PhD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975.

This container hold phographs that were grouped together by the creator either in a printing sleeve or in an envelope. The container that was holding and sorting the photographs was also saved and filed with the corresponding images as some of them were labeled. Note, not all of the labels on the sleeves and envelopes, corresponded with the photographs within.

This container holds a 3-ring binder with photographs and negative film strips. The items arrived in plastic photo sleeves that could go into a binder so to preserve the order that they were placed in by the creator, the archivist provided the binder. No order or reassembling has been done to these photographs or negative film strips.
