This collection was donated to the Greenwood Library Archives in August 2020 by Elinor Dameron's nephew, Clifton W. Potter.

Elinor Roy Dameron, born in 1899 in Lynchburg, Virginia attended [then] State Normal School for Women, from 1919 to 1921. While at the school, she was a member of the Athletic Association, the YWCA, Glee Club, and the Lynchburg Club. After she graduated in 1921 she spent several decades as a public school teacher in Lynchburg.
