Scope and Contents
An artificial collection composed of portraits in the West Virginia University Libraries and West Virginia and Regional History Center of historical West Virginia subjects dating from approximately the mid-nineteenth to mid-twentieth centuries. Includes portraits of political and military figures, and West Virginia University presidents. Some of these paintings have been transferred to the WVU Art Museum.
