Master's thesis titled "The Attitudes of Public School Patrons toward Sex Education in Washington and Scott Districts of Boone
County" by W. Way Stewart, submitted for a degree of Master of Arts at West Virginia University in 1939. Way argues for the
importance of sex education in public schools, and interviews parents, students, and educators regarding their opinions and
