Abstract
Letter (July 31, 1904) regarding Barns family authored by Frank Holbert of Duluth, Minnesota to John S. Barns of Harrisville, West Virginia, a cousin to Holbert. There is also one bronze medal that was awarded to John S. Barns of Harrisville, West Virginia at the St. Louis World's Fair (Louisiana Purchase Exposition) in 1904 for apples exhibited; the medal includes its original velvet lined box, a one page note describing the medal, and the original box it was mailed in from the "International Jury of Awards, Universal Exposition, St. Louis".

One copy of a 12 May 1860 issue of the Fairmont Methodist Sentinel newspaper was separated to the Miscellaneous Newspapers Collection; it can be found on reel 96, flash 16. There are also copies of the 17 December 1859 and 8 August 1860 issues of the same paper at reel 7, flash 21.
