Miscellaneous items relating to railroads and to laws and regulations regarding railroads. Includes photostat copies of Supreme Court arguments in the case of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company vs. Supervisors of Marshall County et al. (1869-1870). Also includes miscellaneous correspondence consisting of a copy of a letter regarding rates of service approved by Edwin Stanton, who was Secretary of War under Lincoln. There are also photocopies of correspondence addressed to J.D. Rockefeller regarding proposed regulations.
