written by Marshall M. Miller of Battery F, First Michigan
Regiment, Light Artillery to his wife, Adelia M. Miller.
Includes descriptions of camp life in Ohio, Kentucky,
Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia and descriptions of
battles in the Atlanta Campaign.

Typescripts of letters written by Union soldier Marshall M.
Miller (b. 1827) of Battery F, First Michigan Regiment Light
Artillery to his wife Mrs. Adelia M. Miller at Bethel, Branch
County, Michigan. Includes descriptions of camp life in Ohio,
Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Starting in August 1864, Miller participated in engagements
in the Atlanta campaign and there are descriptions of these
battles. Also, forms about his military service filled out by
Miller in 1873 for the Adjutant General's Office, Military
Department, Michigan, and a typescript of a letter, 29 March
1903, from J. T. Miller, Union City, Michigan, about the
history of the Miller family of Branch County, Michigan.
