Artificial collection of correspondence; 1935, 1939-1945; primarily of soldiers serving in the US Armed Forces during World War II, but also a few letters written by American civilians living in the USA during this period and one folder with 33 letters from various German soldiers to Marie Luise Matsko of Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany (written in German). Collected by Tom Sunkiskis, this two-box collection contains correspondence from a variety of authors serving in all branches of the US military excluding the Coast Guard. Correspondence has been sorted by author and/or recipient and a brief description of the correspondence dialogue is provided. Some letters contain photographs.
