John Butler (b. ca. 1670) was from King William County, Virginia.

Scope and Content Information

The deed was issued as an exhibit in an equity suit in Abbeville District, South Carolina, in 1815. In the deed dated 20 July 1727, John Butler dictates ownership of his slaves upon his death.
