Biographical Information

Bennett W. Palmore was born 17 November 1846 in Cumberland County, Virginia. He married Caledonia Moore Goodman on 12 December 1872 in Cumberland County, and the couple had three children. He died 9 January 1923 in Cartersville, Cumberland County.

Ledger, 1884-1886, of Bennett W. Palmore, a pharmacist and general store owner in Cartersville, Cumberland County, Virginia, containing customer accounts for the purchase of pharmaceuticals, food stuffs, clothing, and other sundry mercantile items. At the front of the volume is a full-name index. There are also loose receipts and checks for customers contained in the volume.
