These records are part of Auditor of Public Accounts. Administration of State Government: Revenue Assessment and Collection - Local Officials. General Records. This series consists of vouchers and receipts concerning the expenses of delivering notices and executions to public officials delinquent in their returns. Despite the title "Solicitors and Auditors Accounts," which appears on a wrapper, the records are entirely those of the auditor. Each receipt contains the date, the amount received, the name of the person from whom the money was received, and the reason for the payment. The vouchers include the name of persons to whom money was owed, the amounts, and the dates the vouchers were submitted.
