Camillus Christian, Jr. was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on May 6, 1892 to Elizabeth Hutter and John Davis Christian. He attended VMI from 1909 to 1914 and served in France during World War I as a Captain in the 363rd Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces (AEF).
Christian spent his career as a businessman in Brooklyn, New York, primarily as an executive with Childs Pulp Colors, Inc. He married Joyce Holt in 1915 and the couple did not have children. Christian died in Saddle River, New Jersey on November 2, 1978.
This collection consists of an account book owned by Camillus Christian, Jr. The book lists school expenses (1909-1913) incurred while he was a cadet at VMI.
