Julian Neville Major was born in 1887 in Mitchell's Station, Culpeper County, Virginia. He graduated from VMI in 1907. From 1907 to 1911 he was a Professor of Mathematics and Engineering at St. John's College, Shanghai, China. Upon his return to the United States, Major became President of the Old Virginia Packing Company in Front Royal, Virginia. He died in 1953 and is buried in Front Royal.
This collection consists of the papers of Julian Neville Major, VMI Class of 1907.
