William Albert Tidwell, Jr. (1918-1999) graduated from VMI in 1939. During his military career he worked primarily as an intelligence officer, and subsequently was with the Central Intelligence Agency (CSI).
This collection (17 items) consists of the papers of William A. Tidwell, Jr., including: Correspondence (dated 1965-1968) from General William C. Westmoreland to Tidwell Legion of Merit citation and certificate, awarded for Tidwell's service as Chief of the Reconnaissance and Photographic Intelligence Division in Vietnam (1964-1965) Other certificates and citations Three photographs
