The Regulations detail rules for the operation of the Institute and for all aspects of cadet life. They were first published
in 1839, and throughout the 19th through mid-20th centuries they were updated every few years. In the modern era, cadet regulations
are published yearly and are familiarly know as the Blue Book.
The collection includes a copy of the 1839 Regulations signed by Joseph W. Bell, Class of 1842.
