The processing, arrangement, and description of the Decorator's Scrapbook was completed in February 2013.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of a compiled scrapbook of clippings relating to decorating and interior design. These clippings include images, usually with associated captions and articles, and cartoons. Captions incorporated with several of the images list the photograph's location, the decorator's name or company, the exhibition associated with the image, or some variation on these details. The final page lists a period time table for classifying furniture and decorative styles. Two of the clippings reference the date 1932, but no indication is given as to the compilers name or to the date of compilation.
