Job Farley (b. c. 1845) served as a private with Comapny B, 38th Regiment, New Jersey Infantry during the United States Civil War. Military records indicate that he was mustered out of Virginia on June 30th, 1865 to return home from the war.
This collection contains 4 letters from Job Farley written to his mother in the later years of the United States Civil War. The letters describe news of war activities and contain well wishes to friends and family back home in New Jersey.
