The processing, arrangement, and description of the Morris G. Shapleigh Correspondence was completed in September 2023.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of two letters from Morris G. Shapleigh, addressed to his "friend Augustus." The letters give descriptions of camp life and Shapleigh's experiences during the Civil War.
