The "Eat-It-All" Ice Cream Cone Collection was purchased by Special Collections and University Archives in February 2025.
The processing, arrangement, and description of the "Eat-It-All" Ice Cream Cone Collection was completed in August 2025.
This collection consists of approximately 70 full-color Eat-It-All Ice Cream Cone display and price cards, likely from the late 1940s or early 1950s. Mounted on oversized black cardstock, these may have previously been part of a saleman's sample kit or other advertising portfolio. The ads include different ice cream cone items from Eat-It-All Ice Cream Cones, the makers of the Flavorized Flare Top cone, the Crispy Cake Eat-It-All Cone, and the Honey Roll Sugar Cone. Several of the ads feature the same characters (family members, a cowboy and cowgirl, a policeman), and several have spaces for cone prices to be used in stores.
The individual advertisement are mounted on oversized black paper, usually with several ads to each page, in no particular order. The ads have not been removed from the paper mounting, but they have been placed in three separate folders, due to their size and weight, for ease of moving.
