The Capital Club of Williamsburg (formerly named the Middle Plantation Club of Williamsburg) was begun by Rawls Byrd in 1966. The club was composed of men approaching or at retirement age and its purpose was to promote sociability, good fellowship and recreational activities. The organization's name was changed in 2020.

This series contains membership directories, meeting minutes, correspondence, and other material related to the Middle Plantation Club, a civic organization based in Williamsburg, Virginia. Also included are financial records of the organization as well as scrapbooks and photo albums of people and events related to the organization. Most of the financial records, scrapbooks, correspondence, and minutes are from the 1980s while the directories are from 1974-2014.
