Parts of this collection were previously part of the University Archives Publications Collection. Material related to the Student Hip Hop Organization were transferred to the William & Mary Hip Hop Collection in March 2013. Additional materials were collected from bulletin boards in Swem Libary and other campus locations by library staff.
