Scope and Contents

Collection of 92 letters and multiple documents of Charles C. Cabell and his immediate family from Cedarville, Virginia. Cabell was a local justice of the peace and businessman who sold property, livestock, and wood along with his father, Dr. Henry L. Cabell and siblings, Sally and Samuel J. Cabell. Included in this collectIon are receipts, bills of sale, deeds, and business as well as personal correspondence. There is also correspondence from Charles' sister, Sally which discusses personal matters and travels with family members.
