Manuscript Hebrew lexicon, circa 1860's, by Rabbi Isaac B. Seixas, owned by (?) Doggett, Richmond, Virginia. Hebrew words listed in one column with English synonyms in another one.
Handwritten note in front of book, "John M. Doggett, Richmond, Va....1888." and "this MS Vocabulary (which I found among the ruins of my dear father's library)...seems to have been presented to him by Rabbi Seixas the author at a time when such works were hard to get in slave-holding Virginia."
