Letter, dated Oct. 16, 1879, and written by Thomas Samson to R. A. Brock of Richmond. In the letter, Samson details the information he has about the William & Mary college bell. He worked at the Richmond Foundry when the bell was sent to be recast because it was broken. He mentions the same happened to the bell of Hampden-Sydney College.
