The Department of Music at the College of William and Mary offers programs of study in music composition, theory, performance and musicology. Large ensembles include the William and Mary Symphony Orchestra, the Wind Symphony, the Concert Choir, and the Women's Chorus. Medium-sized ensembles include the Jazz Ensemble, Botetourt Chamber Singers, Appalachian String Band, Middle Eastern Music Ensemble, Early Music Ensemble, Gallery Players, Performance Art Ensemble, and Indonesian Gamelan. In addition, the department regularly offers eight to ten other small ensembles, featuring various combinations of string, percussion, and wind instruments.
The collection includes fliers, announcements, programs, newsletters, and audio-visual material generated by the Department of Music at William and Mary. Topics document departmental business, visiting performers, recitals and performances by college students and faculty, choir, ensembles, Ewell Concert Series, Jazz Combo, and the Gallery Players.

This series holds accession 2011.325, which contains posters, fliers, programs, and similar material for performances by varous vocal and instrumental ensembles. Some of the ensembles include the William and Mary Choir, Gallery Players, Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Early Music Ensemble, and others.
Contains concert programs, recordings, photographs, scrapbooks, and audio recordings of the William and Mary Wind Symphony at the College of William and Mary. Included in the records are administrative records of the band, reel-to-reel audiotapes of performances including the Jazz Ensemble, and scrapbooks of events during the academic year for both the William and Mary Symphony and the Concert Band, the precursor band to the William and Mary Symphony.
Accession includes CDs of various ensembles in the music department at William & Mary. Ensembles include: William & Mary WindSsymphony, Chorus, Early Music ensemble, Christopher Wren Singers, concert band, and the Appalachian Music Ensemble.
