Hugh B. Grigsby was chancellor of William & Mary and a member of the Virginia House of Delegates (1828-1830). He attended Yale, served as a lawyer, and operated the plantation of Edgehill.
The collection consists of three letters written to Grisby from Ewell, Lamb, and Harrison.
The papers include three letters adressed to Hugh B. Grisby. The letters all mention the College of William & Mary.
