Orsina Canfield Commonplace book, Special Collections Research Center, William & Mary Libraries.
An album reportedly given to Orsina M. Paskell Canfield by her husband, Edgar Woodward Canfield. Edgar wrote a dedication in encoded writing in the opening pages. Several of Orsina's friends wrote signed and dated poetry on other pages. Various clippings, envelopes, cards, and other ephemera are laid between the writings, including a silhouette of Orsina's son Isaac Paskell Canfield, and an 1884 ticket for a river trip.
This collection is arranged at the file level.
