Woodford graduated from Elkins High School in 1967. While there he was vice-president of the senior class, a member of the
high school band, and was selected for membership in the National Honor Society. He was elected president of the junior class
at West Virginia University for 1969-1970 under the "Student Party" ticket, with Cindy Faulkes as vice-president.
These papers document student life at WVU in the later 1960's, including admissions newsletters, fraternity information, student
orientation publications, residence hall information, etc. Also includes campaign material for election of the student administration.
