Abstract
Weekly weather log (1850-60) and scrapbook (ca. 1837) by George Patrick of Walnut Run, Kanawha County, West Virginia (in one volume of 6 in. by 7 3/4 in.). The log (107 pages) consists of weekly entries from January 1, 1850 to January 1, 1860, recording date, current temperature, and narrative remarks regarding the previous week's weather. The scrapbook (39 pages) includes mostly clippings and some manuscript pages regarding home remedies for humans and livestock, recipes, and general agricultural information and advice.
