Abstract

Receipts (108 items documenting 216 transactions) related to the construction of Buffalo Academy, Putnam County, West Virginia, in 1850-51, as well as a few receipts for later repairs (1859-60). Also includes mounted oval albumen photo (3 1/2 in. x 4 1/2 in.) of the Academy and Buffalo Presbyterian Church (undated).
