Abstract
Letter from Luke Turnan of Baltimore, Maryland to John Rogers of Morgantown, Virginia (present day West Virginia) regarding
business affairs, including a possible land transaction in Uniontown, the price of flour, and poor agricultural conditions
(4 June 1822). A transcription is available. Also includes a financial record apparently documenting production or sales of
shoes, including a list of transactions identifying customer names, dates, and costs for the period July 1832 to October 1833;
John Rogers and Augustin Wells appear to be the vendors.
