Land grant to Charles Byrne and Solomon P. Herndon, Preston County, Virginia (present day West Virginia), for thirty-two acres west of the Cheat River. The land grant is dated June 17, 1824 and signed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, James Pleasants Jr.
