Abraham Johnson of Essex County, New Jersey, settled on Patterson Creek in Hampshire County, Virginia, in the mid-18th-century.
Collection contains newspaper clippings, notes, and correspondence related to the genealogy of the Abraham Johnson family
of Hampshire County, Virginia, as compiled by Edgar Johnson Davis and Annie Dent Davis of Greensboro, North Carolina. Also
includes a copy of the Johnson family genealogy that Dent published in 1939 with handwritten notes.
