Abstract
A genealogy with some brief articles on later family members of the Stobbs family of the West Virginia northern panhandle
whose earliest member, William Thomas, a stonemason and contractor, settled in Wheeling, ca. 1881, from England. A later member,
Henry Alpheus, as a technical consultant for Wheeling Steel did research work that helped develop the Continuous Electroplating
Tinline.
