Collection of material related to Wetzel County. There are newspapers, including copies of the Tyler County Journal (Middlebourne, 1947); Wetzel Democrat (New Martinsville, 1943-1948); and Wetzel Republican (New Martinsville, 1945-1948). Other records include "Ordinances of New Martinsville" (pamphlet, 1872); U.S. Congressional publications regarding tax law from the 78th Congress (four pamphlets, 1943-1944); court docket for Circuit Court of Wetzel County (September 1945); certificate of service issued by the Selective Service System to Leonard S. Hall (1947); and an alumnus newsletter of Marietta College (1947).
