Abstract

Papers regarding John Moylan's land in Monongalia County, Virginia, including a power of attorney from Moylan to Albert Gallatin, with attached notary's commission signed by Benjamin Franklin as president of the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. There are 24 Land Office Treasury Warrants issued to David Anderson, Richmond Clairbourne, John Hopkins, Thomas Judnot, James Hawkins and Alexander Dick, with assignments to Richard Clairborne, John Moylan and William McCleery.
