Abstract
Annual report for the West Virginia University Library submitted by the library to the university president for the year 1947-1948
and bound volume of annual reports submitted by the West Virginia University Extension Library Service for the years 1940-1954.
The Extension Library Service was established in July 1923 to provide library services to patrons without access to other
library facilities. It merged with the library's reference department in 1936.
