Biographical / Historical

Clarence D. Robinson was the President of Monongahela Bank, which began business in 1903 (West Virginia Blue Book, 1918), General Manager of Lambert Coal Company (Report of the State Board of Regents, 1916), and backed a venture to build a $300,000 theatre in Fairmont (Variety, 1922).

Scope and Contents

Papers collected by Charles L. Robinson, including business and family papers of Marion County businessman Clarence D. Robinson. There are books, photographs, ephemera, scrapbook, ledgers, and artifact. Addendum of 2015/03/16 includes a stock certificate, photographs of family members, a map of Fairmont, and scattered issues of Fairmont and Baltimore newspapers.
