Abstract
Papers regarding Watters Smith of Harrison County, and related family members. Includes manuscripts (1852-1863), plat document (undated), clippings (undated), and oversize items (undated, 1842, 1939). Manuscripts include stock certificate in West Milford and New Salem turnpike, and two Civil War letters and parole from Camp Chase. Clippings include obituaries for Harvey Faris Smith (born 1873) and Burr Smith (born 1877), and articles regarding Watters Smith Memorial Park. Oversize items include bible genealogy records, indenture, and article regarding history of Duck Creek.
