Records of United Mine Workers of America (UMWA), District 29 Office, regarding arrangements between the UMWA Welfare Fund
(or UMWA Health and Retirement Funds) and health care providers. The 1978 Coal Wage Agreement changed the Funds managed health
care plan to a fee for service plan. District 29 encompasses southern West Virginia.
