Abstract
Photostat negative copies of an unsigned autograph letter dated at Paris, 19 Oct 1785, addressed to Peter [Carr], an enclosure
in an ALS dated at Monticello, 27 Feb. 1822, written to George W. Summers, grandfather of the donor, while he was a student
at Washington College, Lexington, Virginia.
