Genealogy of family related to Jacob Smith Schamp (1838-1914) and Elizabeth Virginia (Klipstine) Schamp. They moved to the Muskingum River near Marietta, Ohio. In addition to genealogy, this 60 page document also includes narrative history and photographs.
A book that belonged to Elizabeth Virginia Klipstine Schamp, "The History of the Old and New Testament, Extracted from the Sacred Scriptures, the Holy Fathers, and other Ecclesiastical Writers" by Sier De Rotaumont, 1712, was separated to the rare book collection. Elizabeth Schamp's signature is written onto the book's endpaper.
