Intellectual property rights (copyright, literary rights, artistic rights, or patents) have not been transferred to the WVRHC; the donor retains those rights. The donor gives permission for the WVRHC to make copies for users of the material for scholarship and research purposes. Permission to publish in print or online must be acquired from the donor.
