This collection consists of three items found in a book about the cultivation of fruit by William Coxe belonging to Solomon Henkel , 1819-1827, including a note, August 27, 1819, from H. Gatewood to Dr. Henkel identifying a variety of apple; a list of fruit trees compiled for John Shaver , November 13, 1827; and an undated engraving of View of the Colonial Settlement at Montserado apparently torn from a book.
