There are three items, 1931-1944, n.d., pertaining to Amelie Rives Troubetzkoy . A bound address book, 1931-1944, inscribed "Amelie Troubetzkoy from Pierre. Christmas 1931," includes names and addresses as well as occasional brief personal data with the entries, written by Amelie. There is a letter, March 22, 1937, from Sydney Haines Coleman (1886-1955), President of the American Humane Association, New York, New York, to the princess, expressing sympathy [for the loss of her husband, Pierre, the previous year], and assuring her that she need feel no obligation to them until it is convenient. There is also a photograph of an unidentified couple with an autograph letter to "Beloved Amelie" from "Nancibel" on the verso.
