Scope and Content

Amelie Rives writes from " Castle Hill , " Cobham, Virginia , to "My dear Mrs. Rollins," on June 9, 1887, in answer to her kind letter saying that she appreciates Rollins' interest and desire to see her, and that she would be glad to call on her when in New York . She mentions that Mr. [Henry Mills] Alden would take pleasure in letting her see Rives' "Story of Aenon."
