There are also correspondence, invitations, and memorabilia, 1920-1978, relating to the First Baptist Church of Charlottesville. Included are the last will and testament, March 12, 1920, of A. C. Burgess and a Certificate of Baptism for Mary Anderson Burgess dated November 13, 1921. There is a 1924 letter from Cecil V. Cook, pastor, First Baptist Church of Gaffney, South Carolina, and letters, 1930-1944, from Henry Alford Porter, pastor, First Baptist Church of Charlottesville, relating to personal and church matters. A June 24, 1944 letter from Porter also includes his eulogy of Aubrey C. Burgess. There is also a Service of Appreciation in honor of the Reverend Madison Lamar Banister [1967].
