Scope and Content Information

There are photographs taken at Tacoma by Fritz & Rue, Big Stone Gap, Va., which are of the site of the Norfolk and Western Railroad, a boarding house, a church, a saw mill, two old homes and the surrounding countryside. There are also photographs taken at Big Stone Gap by an unidentified photographer, which include the local police force, the arrival of the first train in 1890, a walnut logging crew, and the entrance to Natural Tunnel, Scott County, Va.
